    • Hi – that is me in the picture, playing with the California Repercussions. I painted the horn in the 1980s when I was playing with the Stanford Band (I didn’t actually go to Stanford.) The picture is based on Wally Wood’s illustration of Dr. Noah Zark in a Mad Magazine Flash Gordon parody.
